Who we are

Looking at this website
You can read every page without telling us who you are. There is no sign-up, no newsletter and no contact form. We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking, and no advertising company follows you from here.
We put no cookies on your device for ordinary browsing, which is why you are not pestered with a cookie banner. Like any website, the computer that serves these pages keeps routine logs — the address you came from, the page asked for and the time — which our hosting company holds for a short period so faults and abuse can be traced.
Build an order
That page puts a list together inside your own browser so you can read it out to us. Nothing you tap is sent to us, nothing is saved, and it places no order. There is no online ordering and no payment on this site at all.
The songs
The videos sit on YouTube. We load them through YouTube's no-cookie address and only when you press play, so nothing from YouTube reaches your device until you choose to watch. Once a video is playing, YouTube's own rules apply.
Staff signing in
Our own staff sign in to a private part of this site to change the menu, the opening hours and the notices. That is the only place any personal information is involved, and it is about the people who work here, not about customers.
Signing in goes through Google. When a member of staff signs in, Google tells us their name, their email address and the identifier of their Google account. We never see or store their Google password. We keep that name and email address so we know who is who, one cookie so the browser stays signed in, and a record of what each person changed and when — which exists so mistakes can be traced and put right. People learning to write orders also build up a record of what they have practised.
We keep a staff account for as long as that person works with us, and remove it when they leave.
Who else sees any of this
Nobody. We do not sell, share or hand anything to anyone for marketing. The information sits on the servers of our hosting company, who keep the machines running, and Google handles the sign-in itself. We would only give anything to anyone else if the law required it.
Your rights
If we hold anything about you, you can ask to see it, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Ask at the counter or phone 07934438698 and we will sort it out. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for this.
